• Open classes
    Are taught Mysore style and are suitable for all levels. If you haven’t attended one of these classes with us before, please talk to the teacher or contact us first.
    Monday – Friday mornings 6:00am – 8:00am   The morning classes are only taught on Mon. Wed. and Fri. until Oct. The shala is open on Tues. and Thurs. for self-practice.

    Monday – Thursday evenings 4:30pm – 7:30pm
  • Led classes 
    Are talk-through classes with students following in unison. These are fairly strong sessions, so we recommend coming to one of our Open classes before joining a led class, or speak to us first.
    Sunday mornings 10-11:30am
  • Beginner courses
    If you wish to join our community to practice this traditional and beautiful Yoga practice then we offer a 2 week introductory trial for free. All we ask from you is that you come with an open mind and that you commit to attending at least 3 sessions per week, morning or evening or a mix of both.

Mid Year Break; Mike and the staff at Te Aro Astanga are taking their annual mid-year break. There will be no classes on Sunday 14th through to Saturday 20th inclusive. Classes will resume as usual on Sunday 21st July. Please note these dates.
