Open classes
Are taught Mysore style and are suitable for all levels. If you haven’t attended one of these classes with us before, please talk to the teacher or contact us first.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings 6:00am – 8:00am 

Please note these are our Winter Hours. We will return to 5 Morning sessions a week in Spring. 

Monday – Thursday evenings 4:30pm – 7:30pm

  • Led classes 
    Are talk-through classes with students following in unison. These are fairly strong sessions, so we recommend coming to one of our Open classes before joining a led class, or speak to us first.
    Sunday mornings 10-11:30am

While we are at Covid-19 Level 2 you need to Book for this class. For a tutorial on how to do this CLICK HERE.

  • Beginner courses
    If you wish to join our community to practice this traditional and beautiful Yoga practice then we offer a 2 week introductory trial for free. All we ask from you is that you come with an open mind and that you commit to attending at least 3 sessions per week, morning or evening or a mix of both.

Mid Winter Break 2021

Mike is taking his annual Mid Winter break from Sat. 10th to Sat. 17th July 2021. Te Aro Astanga Yoga is closed for this period. Classes resume again as normal on Sunday 18th.
